BCC BIOTEC Culture Collection, Thailand
BIOTEC Culture Collection (BCC) was established in 1996 at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to support the national biodiversity policy in conservation and sustainable use of microbial resources in Thailand. The principle practice of the collection is to preserve and collect microbial cultures isolated in Thailand and the accompanying data in a standard system.

BCCM Belgian Co-ordinated Collections of Microorganisms
The BCCM's origins go back to 1983, when a study ordered by the Belgian government showed that the patrimony of microbial resources and the human skills available in separate Belgian institutions could be better conserved and optimally exploited by joining forces. At that time, collections of one public scientific institution and two universities decided to accept the challenge: 1. The collection of fungi and yeasts of biomedical importance, BCCM/IHEM, established in 1980 at the Mycology Laboratory of the Scientific Institute of Public Health; 2. The collection of fungi and yeasts of agro-industrial importance, BCCM/MUCL, developed since 1894 at the ‘Université catholique de Louvain’; 3. The bacteria collection, BCCM/LMG, developed since the early fifthies at the Laboratory for Microbiology of the Faculty of Sciences of the Ghent University. 4. In 1990, the plasmid collection BCCM/LMBP - hosted since 1977 in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of the Ghent University - became the fourth partner within the BCCM consortium.

BGSC Bacillus Genetic Stock Center  Популярные
Our primary mission is to maintain genetically characterized strains, cloning vectors, and bacteriophage for the genus Bacillus and related organisms and to distribute these materials without prejudice to qualified scientists and educators throughout the world. Since 1978, the National Science Foundation has funded the activities of the BGSC. The Department of Biochemistry in the College of Biological Sciences at The Ohio State University provides facilities and administrative support. The Director of the BGSC is Dr. Daniel R. Zeigler.

CABRI CABRI (Common Access to Biological Resources and Information) by EC
Mission To provide biological products of quality to the scientific community: by searching the catalogues of the participating collections either by means of the CABRI Simple search engine that provides a special search by synonyms feature or by means of the revised SRS interface. by browsing the hypertext, including predefined full indexes by catalogues, genus/species and families. To provide quality guidelines to ensure our customers the specific technical procedures used To expand the resources with other centres having acceptable quality standards

CBS Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures  Популярные
The Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) - an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and situated in Utrecht - maintains a world-renowned collection of living filamentous fungi, yeasts and bacteria. The Institute's research programs principally focus on the taxonomy and evolution of fungi as well as on functional aspects of fungal biology and ecology, increasingly making use of molecular and genomics approaches. The institute employs circa 50 personnel, among whom 17 scientists.

CCAP The Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa  Популярные
The Collection functions as the national service collection of algae and protozoa in the UK and is linked with other service collections worldwide via the World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC). There is liaison between collections within Europe via the European Culture Collections' Organization (ECCO) and nationally via the United Kingdom Federation for Culture Collections (UKFCC). In 1997 the United Kingdom National Culture Collection (UKNCC) was established to co-ordinate some of the marketing and research activities of the UK's nine major public domain culture collections, including CCAP. In 2001 the UKNCC published the CCAP catalogue.

CCUG University of Goteborg, Sweden (>38000 strains)  Популярные
The CCUG holds a broad range of bacteria and the most demanded test strains of filamentous fungi and yeasts. We do not hold extremophils or intracellular organisms and we do not distribute hazard group 3 organisms. Cultures are freeze-dried and may be sent abroad promptly under controlled forms. Our identification service has been active for 38 years. We have huge databases and we are pleased to share the information with you through our search engine.

CGSC E.coli Genetic Stock Center  Популярные
The CGSC Database of E.coli genetic information includes genotypes and reference information for the strains in the CGSC collection, gene names, properties, and linkage map, gene product information, and information on specific mutations. The public version of the database includes this information and is accessible in two forms. The CGSC DB_WebServer (first option, presented above) provides a fill-in-the-blank form that results in direct querying of the database. (You may fill in one or more of the blanks. See examples under Help option on query forms.) A direct login to our Sybase APT forms frontend provides somewhat more powerful query capabilities, but is less convenient unless you are in a unix, linux, or Macintosh x11 environment.

Developmental, Cell and Molecular Biology Group Duke University  Популярные
The CMB Training Program has been an important component to graduate education at Duke University since 1975. It grew from a Biochemistry Training Program into a Training Program that became highly interdisciplinary and included all the departments of the basic biological sciences at Duke. In an effort to be inclusive and to provide the highest level of training over the broad range of cell and molecular topics, currently there are about 120 faculty participants in the Training Program. At present there are about 100 predoctoral students in the Program, and well over 250 predoctoral students have been supported by the Program since its inception
